Abraham Merida is not a new face around Leahy Landscaping. On his tenth anniversary with a promotion to property manager. More importantly, Mr. Merida's success with Leahy mirrors that of many immigrant employees who come to Leahy Landscaping from Guatemala on work visas and work their way up through the company ranks. Mr. Merida started as a laborer in the field and over the years became a foreman and assistant to operations. Like many Leahy employees, he owes his success to a strong work ethic, a desire to learn the company from within and to seize any opportunity to excel.
